Pat Benatar, a 3D Titanic, and the hillside rolls into weekend five.
Tuesday is the night this week bends around. Bryan Adams plays Moody Center with Pat Benatar and Neil Giraldo opening, while eight blocks south the Paramount runs Titanic in 3D, so pick your flavor of nostalgia and commit. Moody stays busy Wednesday when K-pop group IVE brings their world tour through, and the Paramount answers with Strangers on a Train, the third Hitchcock of the summer. Singin' in the Rain opens weekend five on the Zilker hillside Thursday, past the halfway mark now with the crowds settling into a rhythm. It is late July in Austin, which means everything below assumes triple-digit afternoons and plans that start after dark.

Tue July 28, 7:30 PM · From $45Bryan Adams with Pat Benatar and Neil GiraldoMoody Center, 2001 Robert Dedman DrThe Roll With the Punches tour lands in Austin with an opener who could headline the same room. Benatar and Giraldo play a full set before Adams takes the stage, which makes the early arrival actually matter for once. Two catalogs of radio staples in one air-conditioned arena on a Tuesday is a fair trade for a late bedtime.

With Moody Center hosting arena shows Tuesday and Wednesday, our parking guide is the most useful thing on the site this week. It covers the garages that actually have space, the prepay move that saves you twenty minutes, and why the Dean Keeton rideshare drop beats circling campus.

ATX Weekly tip
For the Moody shows Tuesday and Wednesday, prepay parking through the Moody Center app before you leave the house; the closest garages sell out by early evening on arena nights and the walk-up rate is worse anyway. Better still, get dropped at the Dean Keeton rideshare zone and walk five minutes. If you are doing the Tuesday double feature math, Titanic starts at 7 and runs long, so it is one or the other, not both.
A Tuesday with Pat Benatar on one stage and a 3D iceberg on another is a good problem to have. Pick one, hydrate, and we will see you on the hillside. — The ATX Weekly Editors
