Halloween lands on a Longhorns Saturday, and the clocks fall back after.
F1 week is in the rearview and the town exhales. What comes next is a quieter Monday, a Thursday that opens the Austin Film Festival, and a Saturday where Halloween and a home football game share the same calendar square. We built the week with that Saturday in mind, because it will decide where you can park and what a ride home costs. The clocks also fall back at 2am Sunday, which means a free extra hour on the best party night of the month. We stuck to what we could confirm with the hosts, so tap through for times before you go.

ATX Weekly tip
Daylight saving ends at 2am Sunday Nov 1, so Saturday night gets an extra hour. The catch is that kickoff traffic and Halloween rideshare surge overlap, so book your ride home before the game lets out, or park outside the stadium zone and walk the last mile.
Pick your Saturday early, because Halloween and football will not leave you much room to improvise. Enjoy the extra hour. See you out there, atxweekly
