Día de los Muertos opens the week, and a packed Saturday closes it.

Día de los Muertos opens the week, and a packed Saturday closes it.

We start the week with the clocks an hour back and two big free Día de los Muertos celebrations, one at the Emma S. Barrientos center and one at Waterloo Park. Tuesday is Election Day, which is also Free Tuesday at the Blanton and the night Doja Cat plays Moody Center. By Saturday the town is stacked, with Austin FC's Decision Day, the 30th Austin Celtic Festival and a free Moonlight Nature Night all landing between noon and eight. We built the week from times and prices checked with each host, so tap through before you go.

ATX Weekly tip

The clocks went back at 2am today, so anything you set the old way needs a second look. Saturday Nov 7 is the day to plan early: Moonlight Nature Night runs 5 to 8pm, Austin FC kicks off at 6pm and the Celtic Festival closes at 7pm. Settlement Home's sale is also free after the 10am early-bird hour.

Saturday is the one to plan ahead, because three good things overlap between noon and eight. Vote Tuesday, then spend the evening however you like. See you out there, atxweekly
