Is Barton Springs Pool free?
Not all day. Barton Springs charges admission during staffed hours, but entry is free before roughly 8am and after 9pm, and the pool is free to everyone during the winter off-season. The free windows are also the least crowded, which is the real reason to use them.
What can you do in Austin with no money on a weekday?
KUTX's Live at Five is a free 30-minute live radio session on weekdays, though the studio only holds about 40 people and RSVPs open Monday.
